Fall Workshop

The fall workshop will be held on November 12 & 13 with a lecture/trunk show held the evening of November 12. The lecture will be a gift to paid members of the guild! The teacher is Sally Collins who is well known in the quilting world for teaching precision piecing. The description of the classes given by Sally are as follows:

Nov. 12 - Process No Sew/Lecture class on Borders, Bindings and Edges. No preparation required, no book required, attendees will have the opportunity to ask lots of questions, see visual aids, and lots of quilts. Cost of this one-day class will be $35.

Nov. 13 - Process/Project: Baskets. This is the class that Sally is best known for - "Precision Piecing". There is a handout for the project although students are invited to just work on the cutting and sewing in class to experience the information given. Attendees do not need to be committed to the project; they can work only on process. Cost of this one-day class will be $50.

All events will be held at the Holiday Inn on Bluff Street, St. George, Utah. The lecture will begin at 7:00. Classes will begin at 9:00 am with doors open at 8:30.
