The 2021 Gems of the Desert Quilt Show will be held at the Dixie Convention Center in St. George, Utah. St. George is in the southwest corner of Utah. Convention Center space is 28,500 square feet and we can accommodate 60 - 10' x 10' booths for vendors. Vendors may rent up to 3 - 10' x10' spaces but must register early and pay a non-refundable deposit on each space reserved.
We had 1600 attendees at the show in 2019. We held 10 classes in 3 days with 95 attendees. We displayed 311 quilts of which 122 were judged quilts.
Quilt Show Hours Quilt Show hours are Friday, April 9th from 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday, April 10th from 10 am to 4 pm
Vendor Check-in Vendors will check in on Thursday, April 8th beginning at 9:00 am at the rear entrance to the Exhibit Hall. Dixie Center staff and Guild volunteers will be available to assist vendors, if needed.
WiFi and Electric Connections Connections for electricity and WiFi are available directly through the Convention Center.
Classes Classes will run Wednesday, April 7th through Friday, April 9th. Our class size is usually 20 participants and classes normally are 3 hours in length. They are held in classrooms separate from the vendor area. At this time we are in the process of planning our classes. If you are interested in holding a class, we will need to have our class chairperson contact you and send you class information.
Booth Space Booth space is available for $200 TOTAL for each 10' x 10' booth space A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT for each booth space is due by August 1, 2020 FINAL PAYMENT is due by December 1, 2020 After the December 1, 2020 Final Payment Due Date, all deposits and booth payments become non-refundable.
