Annual Quilt Challenge
The Guild issues an annual challenge to members to create a quilted item within specific parameters. If completed by the deadline, the challenge quilts become part of a special display section at the next Quilt Show.

2027 Guild Quilt Challenge
Challenge yourself, try something new, and HAVE FUN!
Design & Construction Rules
- Dimensions: Your entry must be exactly 12” x 48”.
- Technique: Pieced, appliquéd, mixed media, or any other style.
- Fabric: Any fabric is acceptable (prints, solids, hand-dyed, etc.).
- Quilting: Must be quilted through all three layers by hand, machine, or a combination of both.
Submission & Display Details
- Entry Limit: One quilt per member, completed during this challenge year.
- Due Date: Turn in your completed quilt at the Guild Meeting on April 10, 2027.
- Showcase: All entries will be displayed at the Southwest Quilt and Fiber Art Show in November 2027.
